Principal's Corner

The 2023-24 school year will be my 20^th year in education.  For the last 17 years, I have worked as both a teacher and an Assistant Principal at Chuckey-Doak Middle School.  During my time as an educator in the classroom, I have taught 8th-grade science, 7th-grade World Geography, and 6th-grade math.

My educational background consists of the following:  a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Tusculum University, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix, and congruently hold an EDS in Curriculum and Instruction as well as Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.

LeAnne Murvin has been my wife of 21 grateful years.  Together, we have been blessed with three wonderful children. Evan is a Junior at Carson Newman University, Kaydin is a Freshman at ETSU, and Brasen is a Senior at Chuckey-Doak High School. 

I consider the opportunity to serve as the Principal at Camp Creek Elementary an honor and privilege.  I look forward to working with the students, the staff, and the Camp Creek Community. My goal as the new administrator is to continue to provide a quality educational experience for our students and to prepare them for their future pathways.
