Welcome to Camp Creek Elementary

Welcome to Camp Creek Elementary! I am Dr. Kyle Donahue, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Camp Creek. I believe schools have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students, families, and the community, and I am excited to be part of the Camp Creek family.

I have spent my entire career in Greene County Schools, serving as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and school administrator. I most recently came to Camp Creek from Chuckey-Doak High School where is was serving as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for the last 5 years. 

At Camp Creek, our goal is to create a school where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported. We are committed to strong academics, meaningful relationships, high expectations, and helping every child grow. I believe the greatest impact we make as educators often extends far beyond a single school year. The relationships we build, the confidence we instill, and the opportunities we provide can help shape the direction of a student’s life.

Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is The Wild Card. It represents our belief that each of us has the opportunity to be a Wild Card in the life of a child. One teacher, one relationship, one opportunity, or even one school year can change a student’s path forever. We want Camp Creek to be that kind of place.

I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead for our students, staff, and families. Camp Creek is a special community with a proud tradition, and I look forward to working alongside our families and staff as we continue to grow and make an impact together.
