From the Desk of Mr. Wilds:


It is an honor and privilege to be able to serve the Camp Creek community as the new principal of Camp Creek Elementary School.  I truly look forward to meeting all of the faculty/staff, students, parents, and community members out here in BEAR COUNTRY!

Professional Bio:

Graduated from ETSU in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education

  • Taught 5th grade at Bluff City Elementary in Sullivan County (2004-2005)
  • Taught 6th grade at Edgemont Elementary in Cocke County (2005-2007)
  • Taught 7th/8th grade at Parrottsville Elementary in Cocke County (2007-2013)

Graduated from Bethel University in 2013 with Master’s in Administration & Supervision

  • Principal at Ottway Elementary School in Greene County (2013-2015)
  • Assistant Principal, Curriculum Coordinator, and Safety Specialist with Newport City Schools (2015-2017)
  • Principal at Camp Creek Elementary in Greene County (2017-Present)

Currently enrolled in Arkansas State University’s Educational Specialist (Superintendency) program.


Personal Info:

In 2012, I married my beautiful wife. We have two awesome children.  We are a Tennessee family...Go Vols!  We attend Crossroads Community Church in Newport.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing guitar, rollercoasters, working in the yard, and basic woodworking.
