Profile

Hello! My name is Mrs. Kim Seaton, and I live in the St. James area with my husband, Ricky, and our three cats. I enjoy traveling, gardening, and spending time with my family. I will be your child’s 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This will be my 19th year teaching! I have previously taught at McDonald and Nolachuckey, and my teaching experience includes five years in Pre-K, ten years in 2nd grade, and three years in 4th grade. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K–4) from East Tennessee State University in December 2006. In August 2008, I completed my Master of Arts in Education at Union University, and in July 2010, I earned my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I am truly excited to work with you and your child this year. I look forward to building a strong partnership and helping make this the best school year yet!
