All About Me

     My name is Casey Freshour.  I am the 4th Grade Math and Science teacher at Camp Creek Elementary.  I started my teaching career nineteen years ago as a 2nd grade teacher at Baileyton Elementary.  After five years I moved to DeBusk Elementary and taught 1st grade for the next eight years.  Those roads brought me here to Camp Creek.  I taught one year of 3rd grade science and social studies.  I taught second grade for three years here at Camp Creek and  moved to 4th grade three years ago. 

     I am from Greeneville and so is my family.  I was fortunate to have been raised in a military family and moved all around the world before starting middle school.  I went to elementary school in Hawaii.  I am a Greeneville High School graduate.  I attained my Associates Degree at Walters State Community College and continued and obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at East Tennessee State University.  In May of this year, I obtained my masters degree in education in curriculum and instruction with a reading specialist certification. 

     I am married and have a sixteen year old son.  We love to travel, cook, and watch movies.  I enjoy scrapbooking when I have time.  I have two little dogs that are spoiled rotten.  

     I love being a teacher.  It is the most rewarding career and I look forward to working with your child.
