Cortni Donahue

Hi, everyone!

My name is Cortni Donahue, and I am your child’s library teacher. I’m excited to welcome your child into the library, a place where we build a love of reading, curiosity, and lifelong learning. Before becoming a librarian, I taught 5th grade English/Language Arts, which helped shape my passion for literacy and helping students grow as readers.

I grew up right here in Greene County and attended Doak Elementary School and Chuckey-Doak High School before earning my undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University. I later earned my Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Trevecca Nazarene University. It brings me great joy to share my love of books and learning with your child each week.

I am truly honored to be part of this school family and to work with the amazing students of Greene County Schools!
